Blaze was born Sept 8, 1998, Jace picked him out of the litter or should I say Blaze picked Jace, it was love at first sight. What an adorable puppy. Blaze lived 8 years, he was a beautiful dog who just loved to please his family, and we loved him. He just loved to take us on walks and he loved the snow! Blaze loved cats, Billie was his first buddy as they grew up together, Billie was taken away from us in 2005. Soon after that Jace brought home a new friend Toby from California, he really cheered up Blaze and it wasn't long before he was laying in Blaze's arms, he was such a proud dog and these cats protector. It was always so cool seeing these little cats lay in the arms of a dog the size of a wolf. No fear! Unfortunately in March of 2006 Toby was taken as well, poor Blaze, he really missed his buddies. After that no cat was allowed in Billie and Toby's shed, so they had to live in the garage. Blaze passed away in his sleep while Jace was serving his Mission in Arizona, on Feb 18, 2007. Mom and Dad were shocked and sad and had to tell Jace this news by email while he was serving his Mission. We know he is in Heaven with Billie on one arm and Toby on the other arm. : )
