Grandma and Grandpa

When Jace was in his early teens he came over and helped us clean out a big shed that was stuffed full.  It wasn't our stuff, but we had to clean it out after Ron's folks passed away and we wanted to sell the place.  It took the three of us an entire day to get that place cleaned out, but Jace hung in there with us and we thought that was pretty good of him.

Then when we put our new metal barn up over here behind our place, Jace and his parents really helped us with that and it wasn't an easy task. There were many thousands of bolts that we had to screw in along the way.  Jace never left, but stayed right with us and for a young kid, that isn't bad.

When Jace was much younger than that, maybe six or seven, I really can't remember - he was watching his grandpa build a large water trough for his cattle.  It was a most unusual one, not only large, but was covered mostly with glass panels so the sun could still shine on the water and the rain and snow couldn't get in.  Anyway, what I thought was really cute was when Jace said to his grandpa - grandpa you sure are a good water trougher.

Happy 25th Jace!

Love,
Grandma and Grandpa Anderson
