First, I remember the first time we meet Jace and we said to each other what
a great guy. He has since proven our first thoughts of him to be correct.
I remember when Jace and Kendra came out to Kanab to attend our Sweetheart's
Ball before they got married and the fun time we had there. The dinner was
great and it was nice to get to know Jace more. He didn't even laugh too
much at the dance that Nancy and I preformed as part of the Floor Show. We
hope that they will join us again some time for the Sweethearts Ball.
I remember taking Jace on an ATV ride along with my brother-in-law, Kenny,
while Nancy gave Kendra a Bridal Shower. We had a good time chasing over
the south end of town and gong places even I had not been.
I remember the Wedding and what a great experience that was. I was so
impressed with how Jace treated everyone. He had showed genuine concern for
every one. When things got stressful, he's cool attitude shown forth and
got everyone through it.
We had the opportunity to join Jace's family on an ATV ride up the mountains
behind his home town. Again we got to see beautiful country and some
fantastic views. We even got to watch as Jace and Kendra (Jace did most of
it) carved their initials in a tree close to where Jace's folks had done the
same thing. (Be careful on who you show this to, we don't want him getting
in trouble over that.)
We have appreciated the many times that Jace has helped with some computer
problem or program. He true has been a big help with that and has helped me
to understand how some programs work. When ever I had a computer question,
I knew that I could ask Jace about it and get an answer that I could
understand.
As I said at the start of this, these are just a few of the memories that we
have of Jace and we are so happy to have him as a son-in-law.
Happy Birthday from us!!!
Randy and Nancy Merrell
