Falling for Jace

Saturday, December 6, 2008

Hansel offered to take Staja and I Christmas Tree hunting since he had an extra permit. It was so much fun to go cut down our own tree. Jace came with us too and it was so fun to have him there. We got up early to go find our tree and met the boys outside by Hansels truck. The girls in apartment 102 were having ant problems so I had to go look at their hundreds of ants they killed before we could leave. Not sure why they wanted me to see them but they did. We pilled in Hansel’s truck and for some reason Staja climbed in the back seat so I had to sit up front with Hansel and she was in the back with Jace. She apparently forgot that if your friend likes a boy you are going somewhere with, then you try to get them to sit together. The ride was still fun though.
After finding the pine tree area we spotted a couple trees but nothing really exciting or worth cutting down. Jace and I got out of the truck and walked a little bit to look at a tree. No go on that one so we walked over to look at another one. We were standing there looking up at the trees on the mountain when all of the sudden I fell. Yes, I fell flat on my butt. Jace helped me up after all of us laughed for what seemed like forever and that was the beginning of it all. Jace and I walked up through the mountains looking for a tree while Staja and Hansel drove back down the road. I kept falling and Jace kept catching me. I don’t know why I kept falling and losing my balance, but I did.
Jace and I hiked up to a rock face and threw rocks off and rested. It was fun to just sit and talk for a little bit. We kept hiking around and I kept falling; Jace and I flirting the whole time. It was so much fun I didn’t want it to end, but it did. We found our tree and cute it down to take home. The tree turned out to be bigger than we thought and filled almost our whole living room. It was nice to have a real tree though. I couldn’t wait to decorate it or see what was going to happen with Jace and I.
